The main reason we should all donate is to help out people that are less fortunate than us. Each of our group members is responsible for their own plane ticket to Ukraine; therefore, the money we are collecting right now will be used directly for the people in Ukraine. Our group is called to minister to others by going on this mission trip and physically helping people but without your donations, there is only so much we can do. By donating you will be part of this mission trip and make everything we want to do for the people possible. Thank you for your support!
Where exactly will the money go?
Children-
The kids in the village don’t have the same luxuries of life that many of us have due to the fact that most of the villages are very poor. We want to have various activities for them and we need money in order to purchase things for that. Some of the type of things we’ll be doing is arts and crafts and we will need items such as beads, paper, ribbons, coloring books, markers, crayons, glue, ect. We want to kids to have fun, get to know us, and learn about Christ in the whole process.
Community-
Living conditions are difficult in Ukraine and we want to do our best to help them out. We will be doing things such as cleaning houses, gardening, fixing things up, community clean up day, and chopping wood. We will be using some of the money for cleaning supplies, tools, and everything else we need to accomplish these tasks.
We will also use the money in order to gather food packages for those people in need. Realistically we know that we will never be able to feed everyone, but we will be looking for the people who are most in need and giving out those food packages to them.
Another thing we will be doing is sports. We will be playing various sports as a way to get to know the people in the community. We will have sport activities with children, the youth, and the rest of the community. We also need to purchase all the supplies needed for this.
Services-
We’ll be making church services and evangelism events for the people in this village and in order to do this we will need different electronic equipment such as sound equipment.
